Free Fry Mumia!

Twenty-five years ago today, Mumia Abu Jamal murdered Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner. Mumia is currently incarcerated in the maximum-security State Correctional Institution Greene, near Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. His death sentence was overturned in 2001 by the idiot Federal District Court Judge William Yohn. During his incarceration and appeals of his death penalty, Mumia became a cultural icon - a hero for God's sake - for stupid teenagers, dimwitted celebrities (like Ed Asner and Susan Sarandon), the moonbats, Amnesty International, and the French. The French city of St. Denis even named a street after their hero. Yeah...right. Apparently many of the morons believe he's a "political prisoner." You may have noticed the graffiti and t-shirts saying: "Free Mumia."

Michelle Malkin has a round-up of the 25th anniversary news, including a column about Officer Faulker's wife, Maureen.
