Pepsi. The Choice of a New "Aztlán" Generation

Eva Longoria is SHOCKED that Americans don't want to live in a new, racist Hispanic nation.

Pepsico sponsors a National Council of La Raza event - the ALMA Awards.

Who is La Raza? It's more than it seems by far. Among other causes, it supports a Chicano separatist movement calling for forcibly taking the south western United States and forming a new Hispanic nation. This is also known as Reconquista. Just something to remember the next time you're thirsty.

So Long, Farewell, Adiós, Goodbye

Some Mexicans Leaving US, Planning Never To Return

All are leaving Colorado in time for Christmas — joining a traditional holiday migration that will number almost 1 million people, says Mexico's interior ministry. But they have no intention of returning to Colorado, a place that promised prosperity.

Layoffs, dwindling job opportunities, anti-immigrant sentiment and the crackdown on illegal immigrants are forcing hard choices on many Mexican nationals in Colorado. Though not an exodus, some are returning to a nation they haven't seen in years.

What do you know? An upside to the downside.

Bob Barr Challenges Obama's Illegal Alien Healthcare Plan

Huh! How about that? A presidential candidate who actually disagrees with his opponents and draws distinctions between said opponent and himself! You know, actual campaigning!

Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr challenges Obama's plan to make you foot the bill for 12 million illegal aliens' healthcare costs:
“Neither Sen. Barack Obama nor Sen. John McCain wants to talk about immigration, but the system is broken,” says Bob Barr, the Libertarian Party candidate for president. “Unfortunately, neither of them wants to take the tough steps necessary to secure America’s borders and institute a realistic policy to cut illegal immigration.”

An example of the problem is Sen. Obama’s oft-stated promise to “give health insurance to 47 million Americans who are now without coverage.” Of course, “Sen. Obama doesn’t plan on giving them coverage. He plans on making the taxpayers give them coverage. There’s a big difference,” notes Barr.

But there’s an even more fundamental issue. Approximately one-quarter of those persons who are uninsured are in America illegally. “It’s not fair to expect U.S. taxpayers to pay for health insurance for the citizens of another nation. America’s bloated welfare state is expensive enough, and even after recent reforms it still creates a disincentive to work. Handing out insurance to people who have come to America illegally will encourage even greater illegal immigration,” Barr explains. “And that, in turn, will push up government health care expenditures, creating a vicious cycle of more and more spending and more and more illegal immigration.”

“Instead of increasing the reward for violating the law and America’s borders, the federal government should move in the other direction. It must stop requiring hospital emergency rooms to provide free care for illegal aliens and the courts must stop forcing states to provide free schooling for the children of illegal aliens. This means changing the law and perhaps even the Constitution, but until we do so the government will continue to create a taxpayer-funded draw for illegal immigration,” says Barr.
Barr then lays out some common sense actions that need to be taken to deal with our illegal immigration problem:
  • Secure the border.
  • Adopt a constitutional amendment to ensure that the children of those here illegally do not automatically become citizens. (could we make it retroactive to people born in the Panama Canal Zone? - QC)
  • Emphasize economic productivity over family ties to bring in more highly skilled legal immigrants.
  • Stop paying people to come here illegally: no more free health care, no more free education, and certainly no free health insurance.
I'm glad someone besides Obama wants to win this election! I wonder what John McCain thinks... rather, I wonder what Juan Hernandez thinks John McCain should think about this issue?

San Francisco Has Blood On Its Hands

The City by the Bay and its liberal politics has lead to the murder of three Americans at the hands of an illegal immigrant: Killings Turn Focus On San Francisco Sanctuary Law
The scene repeats itself daily on city streets: a driver gets stuck bumper to bumper, blocking an intersection and preventing another car from turning left.

But authorities say that was enough to cause Edwin Ramos to unload an AK-47 assault weapon on a man and his two sons, killing them.

The deaths immediately drew public outrage, which intensified when authorities revealed that Ramos, 21, is an illegal immigrant who managed to avoid deportation despite previous brushes with the law.

The case has put San Francisco's liberal politics to the test, setting off a debate over its sanctuary law that shields undocumented immigrants from deportation.

On Wednesday, Ramos pleaded not guilty to three counts of murder in the deaths of Anthony Bologna, 49, and his sons, Michael, 20, and Matthew, 16. Bologna and his older son died in the intersection on June 22. His younger son succumbed to his injuries days later.
Mayor Newsom, the city council, and everyone who helped enact or supports San Francisco's City of Refuge Ordinance are guilty of murder just as surely as Edwin Ramos is. Mrs. Bologna asks a question that should make all of us stop and think: "If my family wasn’t safe, what makes you think yours will be?" Oh, and remember to ask yourself that question the next time you hear John McCain double-talking about his DREAM to help make it easier for people like Ramos to stay in this country.

McCain Uses Both Sides Of His Mouth When He Talks About Immigration

Some people believe McCain when he says he got the message and will make enforcement a priority. But he tells conservatives one thing and pro-illegal immigration supporters another. As Michelle Malkin puts it: "All the rest is noise." In other words, we will get amnesty, but we won't get the g-ddamned fence.

McCain: F-ck The Ones Who Did It The Right Way!

Via Kausfiles:
Here’s NPR’s Mara Liasson, covering the candidates’ appearance before Last Week’s Latino Group: Both these candidates are for the same thing: a path to citizenship–that doesn’t reward people who come in illegally–but McCain did change his emphasis …

Liasson is being very careful not to overemphasize or underemphasize the difference between the candidates. She doesn’t exhibit any tilt toward Obama or toward McCain. It’s all exquisitely fair–except that she almost unconsciously embeds a bit of ludicrous BS that is common to both candidates: the idea that their legalization plans wouldn’t “reward people who come in illegally.” Of course they would. When you hear the candidates talk about sending illegals to the “back of the line,” remember that there are two lines: 1) An initial, typically very long line in which foreigners patiently wait years, sometimes decades, to get green cards that enable them to live here legally, and 2) a shorter second line of people who have green cards and want to become citizens. Neither Obama nor McCain would send illegals to the back of the first line–that would, in many cases, be tantamount to deporting them. On the contrary, the illegals who are already here get to pay a not-huge fine and skip Queue #1 entirely. They may go to the back of Queue #2, but that’s a queue they can wait out while working legally in the richest country on Earth–a reward the poor suckers who obeyed the law and are still lining up outside U.S. consulates abroad don’t get. …
Bi-partisanship means RINO crap stinks just as bad as a donkeys'.

Juan McCain shoots the shit with his amigo, Felipe Calderon.

I'm sure they're just swapping traditional Mexican recipes, not plotting - I mean planning - how to shove their open borders nonsense down our throats once Juan settles into La Casa Blanca. What's that? Juan said he "get's it" now? No amnesty? Tell me you're not that naive.

Oh, not ours. Silly you for thinking that, heh heh!

Good news: House passes $1.6 billion border security, crime-fighting package…

Bad news: It’s not for America, but for Mexico and Central America.
And what we are we doing this year? Sending two of the jackasses most in favor of stupid crap like this back to Washington. Lindsey Graham-McCain to the Senate and Juan "F--- You" McCain to the White House.

It Wasn't An Entirely Bad Night In South Carolina

As least we got rid of Gloria ARIAS-Haskins in state house district 22 - my district. You may or may not have heard of Ms. ARIAS-Haskins, a pro-illegal immigrant Republican who is now famous in these parts for telling her constituents: “I don’t represent you or your kind, I represent the Hispanic Caucas (sic).” I think she realized she effed up because she didn't use her full name - eschewing "Arias" - and was simply "Gloria Haskins" during her campaign. At any rate - chica is headed back to the private sector. Eh, who am I kidding? She'll become a lobbyist for LaRaza and have power lunches with Lindsey Graham-McCain.

All God's Chilren' Needs Cheeses!

Seriously? Mexican "Bathtub Cheese" Spreading Tuberculosis
A rare form of tuberculosis caused by illegal, unpasteurized dairy products, including the popular queso fresco cheese, is rising among Hispanic immigrants in Southern California and raising fears about a resurgence of a strain all but eradicated in the U.S.

Cases of the Mycobacterium bovis strain of TB have increased in San Diego county, particularly among children who drink or eat dairy foods made from the milk of infected cattle, a study in the journal Emerging Infectious Diseases shows.

But the germ can infect anyone who eats contaminated fresh cheeses sold by street vendors, smuggled across the Mexican border or produced by families who try to make a living selling so-called “bathtub cheese” made in home tubs and backyard troughs.
And people wonder why I refuse to make trips to the third world. Why? When you can catch TB from them here?

P.S. As Juan "The Maverick" McCain would say: they're just making the cheese Americans won't make and spreading the diseases Americans won't spread! We'll never get that wall from him! :-)

One, One Anchor Baby! Two, Two Anchor Babies! Three, Three Anchor Babies! Four, Yes FOUR Anchor Babies! Bwahahahah!

Nigerian Woman Gives Birth To 2 Sets Of Twins
Nelly Itula, 40, delivered identical twin girls and fraternal twin boys, officials at Sinai Hospital said.

The babies were delivered by Caesarian section. The girls weighed slightly more than two pounds, and the boys weighed slightly more than three pounds. [...]

Itula, a teacher,
came to Owings Mills, Md., in December to visit her sister when she found out she was pregnant, hospital officials said.

She was advised to stay in the United States because of
health concerns. [QC: All emphasis mine]
Yes, "health concerns." Oh and no doubt to get citizenship for her four little anchors. We really, really, really need to stop conferring citizenship just because someone is born on United States soil. You should have to inherit it from at least one of your parents. I wonder who's paying her hospital bills? Unless she has some of that world renowned Nigerian health insurance, I bet it's you and me.

I Hate To Say I Told You So...

No, that's not true. I LOVE to say I told you so, and I TOLD YOU SO! McCain lied to us my friends, about his stance on immigration reform. He mavericked the crap outta the truth and then went right back to his same old same old. I just can't believe he was brazen enough to do it so soon. I was expecting it to happen after the convention. I'm not the only blogger calling Senator F. U. on it.

John Hawkins, author of those famous articles "Why You're Going To Vote For John McCain In November And Like It!" and "There's Nothing Conservative Or Principled About Helping A Democrat Beat John McCain In November," has now jumped from the moving Straight Talk Express and shoulder rolled back into reality.
Put very simply: John McCain is a liar. He’s a man without honor, without integrity, who could not have captured the Republican nomination had he run on making comprehensive immigration a top priority of his administration. Quite frankly, this is little different from George Bush, Sr. breaking his “Read my lips, no new taxes pledge,” except that Bush’s father was at least smart enough to wait until he got elected before letting all of his supporters know that he was lying to them.
You can read his whys and wherefores in "Why I will No Longer Support John McCain For President." The gist of it though is that McCain lied and is not trustworthy. More from John here including this gem:
In this case, being lied to and disrespected in this fashion is a dealbreaker for me and I'm not voting for McCain over it. Other people may look at the alternative and quite understandably choose to vote for McCain. I understand their position, but very respectfully disagree.

Additionally, some people have pointed out that refusing to vote for McCain actually helps the Democratic nominee and that whether it's Obama or Clinton, the country would be better off with McCain.

That's very true.

But personally, I think that there has got to be some kind of line in the sand that these politicians cannot be allowed to cross. In McCain's case, he lied about the single most important issue in determining many people's votes, is the Republican Party's nominee only because he told that lie, and now he has publicly shifted positions in a way that reveals he was lying the whole time -- and he did so before the election. Here's a man who has so little respect for conservatives that he doesn't even feel compelled to wait until he's elected to reveal that he wasn't telling them the truth about an issue they care desperately about.
He's not alone:
  • Michelle says McCain didn't get the message.

McCain Apparently Doesn't Get It After All

He lied. That's the only conclusion I can draw. When asked about his amnesty proposal while he was in South Carolina, McCain said "I got the message", and "We will secure the borders first and then go on to other issues". Now he's right back to where he started. I told you, he doesn't give a shit what you think. He's going to do what he wants to do and "f*ck you" if you don't like it. Still think you're going to get those conservative Supreme Court nominees from the Maverick?

McCain Is Full Of Shit

I warned you, I warned you, I warned you! Guess what? I was right. McCain delivered a "fuck off and die" speech to conservatives today.
Border state governors have certified and the American people recognize that after tremendous improvements to border security infrastructure and increases in the border patrol, and vigorous prosecution of companies that employ illegal aliens, our southern border is now secure. Illegal immigrants who broke our laws after they came here have been arrested and deported. Illegal immigration has been finally brought under control, and the American people accepted the practical necessity to institute a temporary worker program and deal humanely with the millions of immigrants who have been in this country illegally.
What does that mean folks? It means that he's going to shove his amnesty scheme down your throats and you're damn well gonna swallow it this time.
I am well aware I cannot make any of these changes alone. The powers of the presidency are rightly checked by the other branches of government, and I will not attempt to acquire powers our founders saw fit to grant Congress. I will exercise my veto if I believe legislation passed by Congress is not in the nation's best interests, but I will not subvert the purpose of legislation I have signed by making statements that indicate I will enforce only the parts of it I like. I will respect the responsibilities the Constitution and the American people have granted Congress, and will, as I often have in the past, work with anyone of either party to get things done for our country. [...]

I will seek the counsel of members of Congress from both parties in forming government policy before I ask them to support it. I will ask Democrats to serve in my administration.
And what does that mean? It means he's going to do whatever it takes to get what he wants, even if it means selling out conservatives and conservative principles. If he has to walk, talk, and write legislation like a Democrat to get his way then so be it; and you'll damn well like it and kiss his "maverick" ass for it.

Get it? Senator F. U. doesn't care about you. Never has. The GOP was a means to an end for him to get his way and live out his "Teddy Roosevelt" fantasy. I've told you that McCain would put a knife in our backs and he's moving ahead of schedule. If I were you I wouldn't hold my breath for those Scalia/Thomas/Robertson Supreme Court clones.

Michelle Malkin calls McCain's vision a "fantasyland."

Russ from Winterset over at Ace of Spades asks: Senator McCain, just one question before you go: ARE YOU ON CRACK?

Villaraigosa Gives ICE The Cold Shoulder

In a stunning example of not getting it, Los Angeles Mayor Villaraigosa warns ICE to back off immigration raids:
Villaraigosa accused federal officials of targeting "established, responsible employers" in industries that rely on "workforces that include undocumented immigrants."

"In these industries, including most areas of manufacturing, even the most scrupulous and responsible employers have no choice but to rely on workers whose documentation, while facially valid, may raise questions about their lawful presence," he wrote in the March 27 letter.

He said ICE should spend its limited resources targeting employers who exploit wage and hour laws.
Uh, Mr. Villaraigosa... if the "established" businesses you're referring to are employing illegal aliens then they are not "responsible employers." Also, if the workers didn't come here illegally they wouldn't have to worry about being exploited. Why don't you criticize the real culprit in this problem? Who is that you ask? It's the irresponsible and unscrupulous government of Mexico.
