Addition To The Blogroll

The Other Side of Kim:
We should probably consider ourselves lucky, because McCain is giving us a taste of what’s going to happen when he gets to the White House. This, in other words, is what is in store for us conservatives: daily disappointments, frequent betrayals, and constant regret for having voted for him.

This is what we get for letting the perfect be the enemy of the good; for wasting primary votes on nutcases like Ron Paul, RINOs like Mitt Romney, or no-hopers like Fred Thompson.

McCain is going to screw us, every single chance he gets, as long as what he does makes him popular with the Press, or with “centrist” Democrats like Joe Lieberman, or with “moderate” Republicans like Olympia Snowe, or with “popular” figures like Ted Kennedy and Arianna Huffington, or with international bodies like the United Nations.

And occasionally, he’s going to screw us just because he hates conservatives, and because he can, and because he knows that as bad as he is, Obama would be orders of magnitude worse.

Freedom Of Speech Is - Apparently - An "American" Concept

Well let's help spread it, and cold-cock this little pansy-ass skirt wearing mama's boy...

From The Kevin and Patrick Blog:

Some prissy, narcissistic, leftist, totalitarian tool in Canada is suing a group of conservative Canadian bloggers for defamation including this blog's friend, Kathy Shaidle. What a wuss Richard Warman is. Candy ass little twat.

Be sure to donate to Kathy's defense fund.

Scott-o-Rama, Still Partisanly Hackish

Scott-o-Rama just can't help himself. He can't let the truth get in the way of a good screed.
The Arizona Republic recently tried to figure out who McCain might pick for his cabinet if elected. Their predictions:
  • Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., in a prominent job, possibly even secretary of State;
  • Former Sen. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn., as attorney general;
  • Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani as Homeland Security secretary;
  • Former Sen. Phil Gramm of Texas as Treasury secretary;
  • Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee as Health and Human Services secretary.
Notice anything about these choices? With the possible exception of Liberman being Jewish, not a single minority group is represented. I guess we can look forward to another four to eight years of the government being run by rich, white men should McCain be elected.
Several things are wrong with this post. First of all, Scott is using possible McCain appointments to disparage conservatives. Second, that's only five possible choices from dozens and dozens of administrative appointments to be made; one of which will never, ever happen "aaaach-uckabee-hoo". Pardon me. Third, it ignores the fact (that's F-A-C-T, FACT, Scott) that George W. Bush, a Republican, has had the most diverse cabinet in the history of the United States. Here's a little reading for you on Bush's appointments...
Diversity in the Cabinet: Will the Democrats equal Bush & Sarkozy?

The Benetton-Ad Presidency by Joe Klein

Bush is opening doors with a diverse Cabinet
Scott rarely let's facts slow his rhetoric though, so forgive him.

All The Treason That's Fit To Print

Ronald Winter takes the media to task for it's willful disregard for national security in his blog post All's Quiet on the Iraq War Front, So Let's Leak Defense Secrets - Again
So the president gave the order to take the gloves off, upped the number of combat troops in Iraq, put Gen. David Petraeus in charge overall, and within four months of the jumping off date we have major accomplishments to reveal. And the mainstream media abetted by the left-wing blogosphere is silent, or off on another fantasy junket.

By the way, four months after the D-Day invasion of Europe starting with the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, our troops were still making only piecemeal progress, had barely broken out of the hedgerow - Bocage - country in northwestern France and had suffered more than 100,000 casualties. Just though you should know in case you are in one of those left-wing induced fantasy-land delusions.

One of those fantasies was described by left-winger Juan Williams on Fox News Sunday today when he decried what he said was an attempt by the administration to sneak an $80 million expenditure past Congress in a defense appropriations bill. The $80 million is to be used to retrofit B-2 Stealth bombers to carry 15-ton bunker buster bombs, ostensibly to be used in case of war with Iran over its nuclear ambitions. [...]

In World War II, which the left loves to run up the flagpole as the ultimate "Good" war, did the news media discuss Pentagon plans and designs for camouflaging US Navy ships to make it harder for the Germans to torpedo them in the Atlantic? No it didn't!

Why? Because if they did, the Germans would have read the stories too, alerted their U-Boat commanders of the new deceptions, and they would have sunk far more ships and killed many thousands more sailors! The media and Congress knew this so they shut their big, fat mouths.

Heil Fred!

Scott-o-Rama on Fred Thompson: In reading his positions on the different topics, it became apparent to me that Thompson is a thinly-veiled white supremacist. Or at least that’s the way he comes off.

Good grief! Think Scott needs to take it down a notch?

Free And Open Debate? Not At Scott-o-Rama

Scott at Scott-o-Rama seems to dislike like the fact that someone disagreed with him. So he seems to have begun deleting my comments at his site. Several - but not all - comments I've made over the weekend have disappeared and one that I made today has vaporized as well. The one that is still there is one he replied too. Apparently he wants an echo chamber...not a discussion. Hey, it's his blog, but for someone who rants about supposedly losing his freedom of speech, it seems quite odd, no?

If I'm wrong, and my comments have merely been...overlooked, then I apologize.
