I love me! But enough about me. Let's talk about how much you love me!

A Few Other Nobel Peace Prize Winners

In all fairness to the committee, it is an odd and eclectic bunch:

Martti Ahtisaari - Hey, he brought about peace...

Muhammad Yunus - Yep... did something...

Wangari Muta Maathai - Ditto... she has some accomplishments under her turban...

Médecins Sans Frontières - No placebos here...

Yasser Arafat - Not necessarily "peaceful", but you can't say he was all talk and no action...

Mother Theresa - Did a few good things... despite being a Christian!

Martin Luther King Jr. - Did more than dream...

I have a few suggestions for other Nobel awards:

Paris Hilton: Chastity

Roman Polanski: Decency

Rachel Maddow: Femininity

Kayne: Introspection

G.W. Bush: Elocution

I Can't Quite Put My Finger On It, But There's Something Wrong With This Line Of Reasoning

President Barack Obama wins Nobel Peace Prize

His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population.
Exactly Who's On This Committee?

Build Parking Lots, Not Nations...

Obama Begins Campaign to Throw Gen. McChrystal Under the Bus
... we find ourselves staring in the face of military defeat in Afghanistan, which will lead to a cascading series of events up to and including a collapsed Pakistan followed by an Islamofascist war against India run out of Islamabad.
Al Qaeda's Diminished Role Stirs Afghan Troop Debate
Al Qaeda has a diminished role? I thought we just lost eight American troops. I guess Al Qaeda is diminished as much as the recession.
I've never been a fan of long wars or nation building. We should have just nuked the whole of Afghanistan on September 12th. I don't mean that as hyperbole. We are at war. In a war you break and vaporize things, and kill people.

Two Raving Hysteric Women With Nothing But Too Much Time On Their Hands...

Dallas Woman Fuming Over Smoking Neighbor At Complex

A manager and attorney for Estancia Townhomes, a 52-building community near Prestonwood Country Club in North Dallas, said it's unlikely the Daniels sustained any smoke damage. There is a solid, two-hour fire wall from the foundation to the roof between each of the homes.

And even if some smell did seep through, the Daniels renewed their lease at Estancia – where smoking is permitted – six months after they say the problem began.

The only thing that stinks is whatever their ulterior motive is. But kudos on the gas masks! Nice touch! Loser pays anyone?

This Sounds Like A Familiar Song...

Sorry Tim, but you've got to do more than collect all the same old, same old advisors and positions if you want my attention or vote in 2012. Right now you sound like the same old song just a different verse.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty has been quietly assembling the blueprint of a presidential campaign and will announce Thursday the support of a group of high-level political strategists and donors, complemented by a handful of top new media consultants, POLITICO has learned.

Pawlenty, under the radar of D.C.’s political community, has locked up some of the key operatives who engineered then-President George W. Bush’s reelection campaign — a significant feat for a little-known Midwestern politician.

The moves underscore, and will lend credence to, the emerging belief among many establishment Republicans that Pawlenty is becoming the sole viable alternative to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, a potential Republican primary rival. The Minnesota governor has even gone so far as to contact some of Romney's former supporters.
I refuse to help field another John McCan't candidate - even if it means a second term for Obama. The same goes for you too, Mitt.
