Congress Get's Serious About Border Security

Oh, not ours. Silly you for thinking that, heh heh!

Via Michelle Malkin
Good news: House passes $1.6 billion border security, crime-fighting package…

Bad news: It’s not for America, but for Mexico and Central America.
And what we are we doing this year? Sending two of the jackasses most in favor of stupid crap like this back to Washington. Lindsey Graham-McCain to the Senate and Juan "F--- You" McCain to the White House.

Better brush up on your Español.

Graham: "I Need To Keep Being Me"

The same old, same old...
Savoring the triumph before launching his general election campaign, Graham said he plans no changes for the fall.

“With the victory I’ve got, I need to keep being me,” he said.
And therein lies the rub in voting for Graham, people. He doesn't realize he did anything wrong. Neither does the Maverick. In fact, they're going to feel justified in going back to Washington and trying to ram the same old immigration reform, earmarks, and RINO shit down our throats again - this time with a "mandate" from the voters. Go ahead, vote for McCain, vote for Graham. We deserve the government we get. It's quite jarring - I never thought I'd feel so pessimistic about the future of my country.

My Second Vote Of Conscience* In The 2008 Election Cycle

I voted against Lindsey Graham-McCain in the GOP primary for U.S. Senate. It felt so good to say: no, you shut up Lindsey.

Michelle Malkin has more on the amnesty loving "Maverick, Jr." here and here.

__________

*My first vote of conscience was for Fred Thompson in the primary election rather than giving in to the "McCain is inevitable" argument.

Huckabba Does The Splits

Anyone else think Huckabubba is spoiling (literally) for the VP slot? And here I thought there wasn't anything that could make me less inclined to vote for McCain!
In Missouri, McCain leads former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee by 35 percent to 27 percent, with Romney in third place at 24 percent. The margin of error was 3.4 percentage points.

"Huckabee and Romney are splitting the anti-McCain vote in states like Missouri," Zogby said.
Wonder what kind of sweet nothings McCain has been whispering in his ear to keep him in the race? Better be careful though, Juan, I hear Lindsey Graham is the jealous type! I won't be voting for Graham this November either...
