Nice Shooting - or - Ammo Is So Much Cheaper Than A Trial

This happened back in October and I missed the story. Cape Girardeau Woman Kills Man Who Returned To Rape Her A Second Time

An intended rape victim shot and killed her attacker this morning in Cape Girardeau when he broke into her home to rape her a second time, police said.

The 57-year-old woman shot Ronnie W. Preyer, 47, a registered sex offender, in the chest with a shotgun when he broke through her locked basement door.

The woman told police he was the same man who raped her several days earlier. Officials do not intend to seek charges against her.
Thank you ma'am.

Mr. Preyer, have a nice stay in Hell.

What A Timesaver

Suspect Confesses to Killing Auburn University Student Lauren Burk
A man charged with killing an Auburn University student told police he tried to rape her before he shot her, according to documents read in court Monday as several thousand of her peers gathered for a memorial service.

Lauren Burk, an 18-year-old freshman from Marietta, Ga., lived in an apartment near campus and was found on a roadside about 5 miles from the university; her car was later found ablaze in a campus parking lot.

The documents read in court, sworn to by a police detective, said suspect Courtney Lockhart, 23, described verbally and in writing how he abducted Burk from the university, robbed her, drove her around, told her to take her clothes off and shot her with a handgun. He also described driving the car back to campus and setting it on fire.
Excellent. Now we can just skip right to the execution. No muss, no fuss. Get the needle ready...

I Take It Back! I Take It Back! Squwak!

Okay, so I may have been wrong yesterday. There might be some pet birds who do need anti-depressants. This one for instance...

I mean, who wouldn't need a little chemical comfort if they had to listen to Thuggo Chavez everyday? Even Chavez apparently needs something to keep his idiocy from getting him down.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has admitted to chewing coca leaves, from which cocaine is produced.

The outspoken Chavez said he received the coca leaves from fellow leftist Latin American leader Bolivian President Evo Morales.

"I chew coca every day in the morning ... AND LOOK HOW I AM," said Chavez, flexing his bicep in a recent speech, The Miami Herald reported Sunday. [emphasis mine - QC]
Hugo Chavez...the anti-drug...

Is South Africa "Zimbabwe" Bound?

The 'Bring Me My Machine Gun' Campaign

South Africa, meet your next president.

Jacob Zuma, the 65-year-old "100 Percent Zulu Boy" and new leader of South Africa's ruling African National Congress (ANC), has garnered the popular support of communists and young people, some of whom publicly display anti-gay and anti-feminist views. [...]

Despite Zuma's removal as deputy president of South Africa after fraud charges two years ago, and subsequent corruption and rape charges, the ANC announced this week that the party will support his candidacy for the national presidency.

During his rape trial, Zuma took a "short skirt" excuse, claiming it was his duty as a Zulu warrior to have sex with a woman if she wore a short kanga (an African wrap), and that he could not leave her "unfulfilled."

Zuma told the court that he knew the woman was "clearly aroused" by the fact that her kanga was "quite short" — meaning knee-length.

"In the Zulu culture, you cannot just leave a woman if she is ready," he explained.

Good grief. Move over Mugabe, you've got competition for "The Most Awful Leader" in southern Africa award. Ann Coulter was right: "...the natural state of the world is Darfur. The freakish aberration is America and the rest of the Anglo-Saxon world."

What The Huh?

San Jose Newlyweds Bashed By Dozen Teenagers
Some San Jose residents were begging for the public's help Thursday night after they were attacked by teens with skateboards, NBC11's Charlotte Fadipe reported.

Maria, Jason, and Dan did not want to reveal their last names because the attack left them seriously injured and terrified, Fadipe reported.

They were at a stoplight on Foxworthy and Meridian avenues in San Jose in a brand-new Lexus, coming home from a church party on New Year's morning.

Police said for no apparent reason a group of about 12 teenagers began hitting the vehicle with their skateboards.
I'm sorry these three people were injured. It was a vicious attack and the hoodlums deserve a public lashing to within an inch of their slimy, worthless lives. But let me ask the obvious question: Why didn't the three people in the car just drive away?! You know, pedal to the metal? Get the hell out of Dodge? Burn rubber? Skedaddle? I doubt skateboards could keep up with a Lexus. Or, are we now so entrenched in the "victim culture" we can't even act to protect ourselves anymore?

Good Samartian Savaged Again...

I wish I could say that Atlanta was better than Mesa, AZ, but it looks like we aren't immune to worthless scumbag syndrome: Samaritan's Car Stolen
ATLANTA — When Natalie King stopped to check on a pregnant woman and a 3-year-old involved in a rush hour car accident, someone drove off with her vehicle.

The 25-year-old was on her way to work Wednesday morning when she saw two other vehicles collide. Like other drivers, she stopped to see if the woman needed help.

King left the key in the ignition of her 2006 Volkswagen Passat because it seemed there would be little danger of it getting stolen -- cars were backed up on the road because of the accident and there were no sidewalks.

"It didn't seem like a prime area for a car to get stolen," she said.

But less than two minutes after she got out of her car, it was gone. Someone apparently drove it onto a side street and disappeared.
Public flogging, I still say that's the answer...

File Under: What The F-CK?!

Crowd Swipes Dying Man's Groceries
MESA, Ariz., Oct. 3 (UPI) -- The sight of an old man being hit by a truck in Arizona touched off a feeding frenzy among witnesses who allegedly stole the dying victim's groceries.

Not only were the man's groceries taken, but the only person who tried to help him also had his own bags taken.
I'm fully in favor of non lethal public punishment for crimes like this...the stocks, caning, tar & feathering, you know the old time humiliation punishments. Oh and prison terms, long prison terms are still good.
