San Jose Newlyweds Bashed By Dozen TeenagersSome San Jose residents were begging for the public's help Thursday night after they were attacked by teens with skateboards, NBC11's Charlotte Fadipe reported.
Maria, Jason, and Dan did not want to reveal their last names because the attack left them seriously injured and terrified, Fadipe reported.
They were at a stoplight on Foxworthy and Meridian avenues in San Jose in a brand-new Lexus, coming home from a church party on New Year's morning.
Police said for no apparent reason a group of about 12 teenagers began hitting the vehicle with their skateboards.
I'm sorry these three people were injured. It was a vicious attack and the hoodlums deserve a public lashing to within an inch of their slimy, worthless lives. But let me ask the obvious question: Why didn't the three people in the car just
drive away?! You know, pedal to the metal? Get the hell out of Dodge? Burn rubber? Skedaddle? I doubt skateboards could keep up with a Lexus. Or, are we now so entrenched in the "victim culture" we can't even act to protect ourselves anymore?
