DAILY DUMBASS AWARD AND BEST HITLER IMITATION AWARD
And the winner is...Dr. Kamau Kambon, a professor affiliated with the North Carolina State University Department of Africana Studies.
Black people? Nooooo.
Asians? Nooooo.
Native Americans? Nooooo.
Hmmm, could it be...white people? Yes! Congratulations, you've won the grand prize, an all expenses paid trip to Auschwitz (train tickets included) courtesy of Dr. Kambon and the Africana Studies department of NCSU. Enjoy your
Yes, he did indeed call for the extermination of the entire white race. You see that is the only solution to the problems faced by black people. Hell, if whitey didn't exist the entire planet would be one lush, black, Garden of Eden. Just like the continent of Africa is today. NOT!
Can you imagine, even begin to imagine, if a white professor had said the same thing about the black race? The hypocrisy is just flabbergasting. You can express your opinions to the Africana Studies department here: afs@social.chass.ncsu.edu. Now, just FYI - the university claims that Dr. Kambon is no longer affiliated with NCSU, even though he is still listed on the Africana Studies faculty page. Things that make you go hmmmmmm?
Read Mike's column at TownHall.com here, it has links to the actual speech via CSPANN.

Propogating the “Final Solution”, his words are extreme, but Kambon does however make some interesting points. Lets not forget that similar views to Kambon’s also exist amongst those he condemns. Many White Supremist, Right-Wing and other groups argue similar points, but receive much less publicity. There is state sponsored genocide and segration evident in places such as Iraq, Sudan and Palestine, while blacks are concentrated in the countless inner-city slums of the West.
Kambon is gravely wrong to generalise an entire race in this manner, but lets not pretend there are not prevalent groups throughout the world and issues particularly in Africa, which evidence the “international plantation” for blacks and that; “You’re either supporting .. people in their process of death, or you’re for African liberation.” What Kambon conveniently ignores is that there are black “plantation masters” also!
Opinionated Voice
The only points Kambon makes are racist and genocidal; not interesting. Is there a particular reason you want to try and defend this man?
Quite frankly, my post was meant to focus solely on Kambon's racist hate, not anyone else's. I'm fully aware that this type of insanity isn't limited to one race or culture. However, I think our media, and academia, does a bang-up job of pointing out the white supremacist factions. They've got that down-pat. What they're not so good at is reporting on people like Kambon. Black racism is more often than not given a "pass."
Kambon should have to stand in the public square and face criticism like everyone else, without being allowed to hide behind the "straw-man" argument that because "whitey" does it then one can't criticize him for expressing similar stupidity.
Right-wing conservatives (politicians) make these sorts of comments about a particular race (African Americans) daily…Of course they are quickly brushed under a rug. So what’s the difference? I see you didn’t have too much to say when your friend William Bennett made the lovely ignorant comment referring to aborting every African American baby and there would be less crime in America…Oh come on now majority of Americans are poor trash and they make up a large portion of crime in America today...This country was build on the white man’s racism, so now let’s not be so sensitive when it’s thrown back at you!
Do you actually think that a white conservative politician or commentator could make a comment like Kambon's and have it just be swept under the rug?
Your own example proves you wrong. Bill Bennett's comment hardly went un-noticed and certainly wasn't swept under anything.
Why don't you refer to the last part of Bennett's comment? Where he said: "...that [aborting all black babies] would be an impossible, ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do."
I would imagine that it's a safe bet to say you haven't read the whole comment or the context in which the exchange took place - a discussion of the book "Freakonomics" by Steven D. Levitt & Stephen J. Dubner. Bennett made it clear that he was exaggerating. Think along the lines of Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal."
Although I would imagine that you are probably a leftist and as such you take everything literally, so irony or tongue-in-cheek humor is lost on you.
Given your most recent comment, I don't understand what made you post in the first place? One would think you would have applauded my berating of Kambon, but yet you criticize me for not painting with a broad enough brush. How's life in that all or nothing world of yours?
As for Bennett's remark, I'll try and explain it to you again. Read slowly now: what he was saying is that if you were to abort any particular group of fetuses (all male fetuses, all female fetuses, all white fetuses, all blue eyed fetuses etc...) you would reduce crime just by shear volume alone. Less people means less crime no matter what their race. However, Bennett also said that was obviously a ridiculous idea and morally reprehensible. Context my dear, is everything.
As for your claim to hear "theses [sic] sort of racial statements" "made all the time," I'm afraid to imagine what sort of media you indulge in. I read, watch and listen to many conservative information sources and I don't hear that sort of thing. My suggestion: try the Weekly Standard or National Review instead of Aryan Nation Radio or whatever harebrained outfits you're listening too now. You might get a taste of real conservative thought.
And while you might dislike me because of your "conservative Christianity" even though you claim to love diversity (that's irony by the way), I have rarely felt unaccepted in conservative circles. The only place I get grief is when I tell liberals and most other gay people that I'm gay and conservative.
So put that in your multi-racial pipe and smoke it!
