Now really, with all that is
truly wrong in the world, is this ball bouncer's opinon really needed?
Dumbass Quote of the Day III: [The dress code is] "a racist statement because a lot of the guys who are wearing chains are my age and are black. I wore all my jewelry today to let it be known that I'm upset with it." [Indiana Pacers guard Stephen Jackson speaking the truth to power about the NBA ban on jewelry over clothing.]
Mr. Jackson is a perfect example of someone who has more dollars than sense. However, I love the irony of a black man arguing for the right to wear chains. Sojourner Truth, Harriet Tubman, and Frederick Douglass would be so proud.
Meanwhile, Lebron James exhibts a lot more maturity than some of the players twice his age: "Sometimes you feel lazy on a flight and you don't want to put (dress) clothes on," James said. "But this is a job and we want to have fun, but it's a job and we should look like we're going to work."
