God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen - Jars of Clay - listen now

Wednesday, October 5, 2005

Sadly gays & lesbians cannot get legally married in 49 of the 50 states. However, for all the queens & dykes out there that think marriage is the end-all, be-all of the gay rights movement, here's a picture of how you'd be treated in Iran; not to mention Syria, and Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, and Yemen, and Qatar, and Bahrain, and Kuwait, and Jordan, and Egypt, and Libya, and Algeria, and Morocco, and Tunisia, and Oman, and the UAE, and a few dozen other 'enlightened' nations living under the 'Religion of Peace Pieces.' Not only can you not get married there, but you aren't even allowed to live (as in breathe and have a heart beat) there.

The next time you get your 2xist panties in a wad because of the republican democrat sponsored & Bush Clinton signed Defense of Marriage Act, take a look at the picture above. Then thank your fairy godmother for letting you live in the United States - imperfect though it may be.
