God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen - Jars of Clay - listen now

Tuesday, October 25, 2005

Atlanta debuted its new "anthem" last night. It was all I thought it would be and less. Thank you Brand Atlanta and Dallas Austin, for giving us "The ATL." Sigh...to borrow a phrase from Mark Twain, "I haven't heard anything like that since the orphanage burned down."

The tune will be available for download soon from the Brand Atlanta site above.

Warning: Don't listen to the new Atlanta theme song if you suffer from frequent migraines, or if you have a known heart condition or use a pace maker, or if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, are easily nauseated, or have a low tolerance for pain. Side affects of listening to the new Atlanta theme song include, but are not limited too, vomiting, gold tinted tooth enamel, sensitivity to bright light, unexplained cravings for Courvoisier, disorientation, a tendency to make random booty calls, sudden bowel movements and the inability to control them, and the urge to wear gaudy jewelry.
