And I freakin' agree with her. Red lays it on the line; it doesn't get any more plain than this - and the democrats know it:

There is one point and one point only: Everyone the WORLD OVER thought Saddam had WMD. Everyone. He was a known invader of other countries. He hated the U.S. He allowed terror cells to percolate in his country.

The President's job is to protect us.

Was that a gamble worth taking? Yes, we have lost 2000 servicepeople - in 2-1/2 plus YEARS. We lost 50% more than that in ONE DAY on September 11th, 2001.

After that, WE KNEW FOR A TOTAL CERTAINTY, that if an Islamic Fundamentalist whack-job is acting like a menace...you'd DAMN well better take him at his word, and assume he DOES have the weapons he so CLEARLY WANTED US TO BELIEVE HE HAD!

Were we wrong about Sadaam's weapons programs? While it certainly appears that way, I'm not ready to answer with a resounding yes yet. I want to see what Syria and Iran are hiding under their burqas first. But if it turns out he had nothing then I say "thank god." Whether he had them or not, the only way to be sure was to take him out; and we better be ready to do it again, and again if necessary.
