God Rest Ye, Merry Gentlemen - Jars of Clay - listen now

Thursday, November 17, 2005

What with Bob Woodwards sudden burst of memory, I wouldn't be surprised if we see the charges against Scooter Libby dropped, or at the very least a jury finding him not guilty. Certainly the rest of the investigation is as good as dead. As Robbie and the Malcontent said, Woodward will be the "Grinch who stole Fitzmas."

The Washington Times is calling for the indictment to be withdrawn.

Oh, the poor libs, they just can't win. If those charges get dropped or there is an acquittal, there will be mass aneurisms that day. Janeane Garofalo's head will explode. Al Franken will become a raging loon - oh wait that's already happened. Michael Moore will blow a heart valve. Ms. Kos will throw a bitch fit that'll make Mariah Carey look like Mother Theresa. Ah, it really will be Fitzmas!
