Is it just reflexive for people to play the race card anytime they feel put upon? Look at her for god's sake! Does she honestly want to make a "big" deal out of this?

Uh, riiiiiight. She was so "humilitated" by this that she was drawing attention to herself by screaming at complete strangers will going back to the ticket counter. Get real. Frivolous lawsuits like these should be rolled out of court, and the large & litigious plaintiffs fined by the pound for wasting the court's time.
