Large & Litigious

Is it just reflexive for people to play the race card anytime they feel put upon? Look at her for god's sake! Does she honestly want to make a "big" deal out of this?
She refused to leave and decided to return to her seat. An employee told her that if she left, Southwest would give her a refund, Osborne said. She declined, but she became increasingly agitated and decided to leave — only to be met outside the plane by a few Southwest employees and two Rockingham County Sheriff’s deputies. At that point, she started yelling at the group, at times using profanity.
I totally believe that she started yelling and cursing. A mad, proud, fat chick will not be trod down by the skinny man.
“Did you ask me to purchase another ticket because I’m too fat to sit in the seat?
Yes, ma'am - your big ass spills into at least two seats (and that's before the snack.)
Did you ask me to purchase another ticket because I’m a black woman?”
No, ma'am - your ass would be too large for one seat no matter what its color or gender.

Thompson, who got a refund, said she was humiliated and suffered emotional distress. “Southwest just asked me to get off the plane either because I’m too fat or too black or just a woman,” she said to people as she was being led to the ticket counter, according to court records.
Uh, riiiiiight. She was so "humilitated" by this that she was drawing attention to herself by screaming at complete strangers will going back to the ticket counter. Get real. Frivolous lawsuits like these should be rolled out of court, and the large & litigious plaintiffs fined by the pound for wasting the court's time.
