Oh For The Love Of Allah!
So what is the Tar Heel Terrorists defense? It's In The Koran!
The suspect in this month's attack on the UNC-CH campus has written a letter to ABC11 Eyewitness News. Eyewitness News received the letter Monday, in response to our request for an interview. It was sent from Central Prison in Raleigh and dated Friday, March 10. Addressed to ABC11 Eyewitness News anchor Amber Rupinta, the two-page letter includes Taheri-azar's explanation of what he was trying to accomplish in the attack.Islam certainly has an usual conception of love, huh?
"Allah gives permission in the Koran for the followers of Allah to attack those who have raged war against them, with the expectation of eternal paradise in case of martyrdom and/or living one's life in obedience of all of Allah's commandments found throughout the Koran's 114 chapters..."
"The U.S. government is responsible for the deaths of and the torture of countless followers of Allah, my brothers and sisters. My attack on Americans at UNC-CH on March 3rd was in retaliation for similar attacks orchestrated by the U.S. government on my fellow followers of Allah in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and other Islamic territories. I did not act out of hatred for Americans, but out of love for Allah instead."

Islam promises in the afterlife that what is forbidden in the current life...rampant sex with 72 virgins, wine, and young boys as beautiful as pearls.
How stupid are its followers to fall for this crap?
I've not seen this attack called a hate crime yet.
Think we ever will?
We have probably tied ourselves up in so many variants of laws that this UNC character's case will dissipate between the sides of those who call it a hate crime and those who call it an assertion of his right to worhip. Hopefully, it will be found to be more than 'driving to endanger'.
But we must look at the motivations inspiring this person's actions. It is pure hatred which is vented within and on behalf of what he accepts as his religion.
Historians indulge eloquently when they cite sectarian violence as causes for some of the greatest struggles. As ususal, they use their tenured license only partly. What the world is facing now is a religio-political force that is fueled by blood-lust; and the peace it offers is only for those who are its members or to those who acquiesce to it's dominance and are willing to pay to abide it.
