You and I may feel less than kindly toward those who trample on our national symbol, but they have an inalienable right to freedom of speech and expression - including desecrating the flag - even if it makes them look like jackasses. Neal Boortz pointed out something that hadn't occurred to me; if this amendment were to pass, it would be the first constitutional amendment since prohibition (the 18th Amendment) to tell you what you cannot do. I say screw that, thank you very much.
