The Truth Always Shakes Out Eventually

Well, it appears that Michael J. Fox hasn't bothered to read Missouri's Amendment 2 on cloning. So, he made an entire commerical against amendment 2 without really knowing or understanding what it says. Once you read the amendment, you realize it actually protects stem cell research and sets guidelines for the conduct of that research in the State of Missouri. I have a feeling the amendment is quite close to the feelings of most Americans on the subject. I have to say that I am highly disappointed to learn this about Mr. Fox.

Regarding the fact that Fox regularly (and by his own admission in his memoir "Lucky Man") skips his medication before making appearances in order to play up the effects of his illness, I agree with Sister Toldjah. I have no problem with the tactic, after when he's talking about his affliction showing the full effects of the disease is a valid thing to do. However, Mr. Fox needs to be very careful to disclose this fact least he appear disingenuous and harm his cause. Oh, and actually reading amendments and laws you support before you publicly endorse them doesn't hurt either.
