The Liberal Media Campaigns For Hillary
Clinton Calm in Hostage Crisis
When the hostages had been released and their alleged captor arrested, a regal-looking Hillary Rodham Clinton strolled out of her Washington home, the picture of calm in the face of crisis.Well duh, you morons. Of course she was calm, she wasn't there and she didn't have to do anything but make perfunctory phone calls, and waltz out after it was all over to make a speech and hug people. While I'm glad no one was injured during this incident, Hillary deserves no credit for "handling" this crisis.
The image, broadcast just as the network news began, conveyed the message a thousand town hall meetings and campaign commercials strive for—namely, that the Democratic presidential contender can face disorder in a most orderly manner.
Just imagine if it had been a Republican candidate's office. All we'd be hearing is "where was candidate X?" "Why didn't candidate X issue a statement? Is this the sort of hands off crisis management we can expect if candidate X is elected?" "Why wasn't candidate X therrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeee!" How much more shockingly transparent can the leftist media get, I ask you? It's going to be a long and ugly campaign.
