Actress Suzanne Pleshette has died at her home in Los Angeles. She was 70. Pleshette made a mark in movies and the theater but is probably best known and loved for her role as the wife on the long-running TV sitcom, "The Bob Newhart Show." Comedian Newhart played a Chicago psychiatrist surrounded by eccentric patients. Pleshette provided the voice of reason.
