Even His Apology Sounds Demeaning...

B. Hussein Obama apologized for his condescending remarks about Americans in the heartland:

Obama on Saturday morning said he chose his original words poorly. He told the Winston-Salem Journal that “I deeply regret” if anyone was offended by the remarks.

But he stood by his argument that Americans are disillusioned with a do-nothing government and so they understandably turn to values like religion.

Geez... Do you hear what he's saying? Americans turn to religion because the government isn't there for them. He thinks we should turn to the government instead of to our values. We should turn to the government instead of to the principles of liberty and freedom this country is built on.

That's his answer, that's every liberals answer: we should turn to the government... If you ask me the apology is more revealing - and worse - than the insult. That sort of elitist tripe most certainly plays well in your Chicago circles, and San Francisco, and on Manhattan, but you need more than the effete elite to win this election Mr. Obama... and you just don't really get that.
