NEWS FLASH! Screen Actors Guild Bastion Of Homophobia Snubs Brokeback!

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I'm afraid it's true. SAG had the temerity to deny Brokeback Mountain its rightful place as best picture.

We must now ask ourselves what has lead to this? How can an organization that is full of raging 'mos (closeted and un-closeted) display such blatant homophobia, no - outright hatred - for gays? Has SAG been infiltrated by Rovian agents? Could it be a conspiracy of the closeted to quash all talk of acceptance and love between those of the same gender so that they may remain safely ensconced in their Beverly Hill's walk-in closets?

Something is afoot dear readers, mark my words. If Brokeback Mountain does not win every single category at the Academy awards, even those it isn't nominated for, you can rest assured that homophobia lives in America.

Uhh, well, BBM was OK... it was better than King Kong!

But don't you see, had BBM won, that would be proof positive that we're a racist nation trying to sweep truth-movies under the rug.

In this particular encounter, fear of being called racist trumped fear of being called homophobic.

(Just now catchin' up with ya...)
