Listen Closely...
Some people that I like and respect have taken me down a button-hole or two over this post. After giving it some thought, they're right and I'm wrong. I was much too insulting in my criticism of the Life-loving Fat Lesbian Separatist Feminist (her words, not mine,) and I apologize for laying it on too thick.
With that said, I still strongly disagree with her position, and I stand by my contention that she is wrong to act as if flying on Southwest or any other airline is a "right" when it is merely a privilege. If you chose to travel on their planes, you do so in the manner they prescribe. If you don't like it, start your own airline.
Done, and remember, you'll never here me repeat an apology, so I hope you listened closely the first time.
