Many muslims demonstrated in London this weekend without incident. It is not so far fetched and we are a better country for it.

How many? As many as it took to burn down the KFC and McDonalds in Pakistan? As many as it took to burn down a couple of Danish consulates? As many as it took to hurl molotov cocktails at the British and Danish embassies in Tehran?

As much as I applaud the hardy moderate muslims willing to risk their lives to demonstrate against their murderous brethren, their numbers are few and their protests far between. They have a long, long way to go before they are the rule rather than the exception.

I suppose the fear that a cartoon can be copied, archived and passed on is the real threat.
If we look through the rubbble of the Buddhist monuments demolished by the Taliban, there would be stones to throw through the windows of embassies of Islamic countries and their non-governmental organizations.
Now, that would be a demostration.
