Now Here’s A Damn Good Idea…

Which of course means it will never happen. How about letting the Danes run the ports? Sweeeeet.

Frankly, any element; country, syndicate or gang, could go legit with less than legally obtained currency and invest in, or buy out, a business.
I'd opt for the Danes of course, but they're not selling anything to which we're addicted.
It wouldn't surprise me to hear that a corporation out of Medellin might have been in the running if these bids were being proffered in a different administration.
Does anyone remember "We'll sell them the rope to hang themselves."?
Lenin wasn't saying that in today's context by any means, but the idea of using US currency against the US surely appliles.
The US dollar is another manifestation of sweat-equity, but it leaves the country for places where a hole in barren ground gushes oil or to forests pruned for their weeds.
Financiers in Dubai knew where get more US money than haplessly waiting for another oil-bubble to spurt.
