Call Islamic Violence What It Is...Islamic. Violence.

From Media Won't Report Radical Islamic Events, by Tony Blankley:
...the threat to the West is vastly more than bin Laden and Al Qaeda (although that would be bad enough.)

The greater danger is the ferment in Islam that is generating radical ideas in an unknown, but growing percentage of grass-roots Muslims around the world -- very much including in Europe and, to a currently lesser extent, in the United States.

A nation cannot design (and maintain public support for) a rational response to the danger if the nature and extent of the danger is not identified, widely reported and comprehended.

Denying the existence of evil (or refusing to be judgmental about it) has never proved a reliable method for defeating it. Hell is presumably filled with souls who didn't understand that point.
The politically correct, obtuse leftists will be the death of us and Europe if we keep allowing them to ignore the obvious threat of Islamism. We face extinction if we don't start fighting back against this evil more aggressively.

I'm curious to know if a queer conservative has opinions on topics other than Muslims. Could you give us your thoughts on the following...?

Same-gender marriage
Banning same-gender marriage by constitutional amendment
Gay/lesbian adoption
Violence against gays and lesbians
Responding to homophobia
Gays and lesbians as elementary school teachers
Trans-racial gay relationships
Gay Christians
Depictions of gays and lesbians on television and in movies
Christian teaching on homosexuality
Excommunicating Catholic politicians who don't toe the doctrinal line
Global warming
Hurricane Katrina
Urban sprawl in Atlanta
Will and Grace
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches vs. peanut butter and fluff
"Easy-listening" music
Bazooka vs. Double Bubble
Fluffy kitty cats

It's funny the things people think are important when Western Europe is staring into the face of its extinction and replacement by a pan-European caliphate. The whole list is so bizarre. Catholics being excommunicated? What the heck does he care? Let the Catholics do what they want and mind your own business. If Catholics don't like it, there's a Church that already embraces all the stuff the leftists want. It's called the Episcopal Church. Responding to homophobia? You mean looking for demons under every rock? Violence against gays and lesbians? How about violence against innocent people in general? Trans-racial gay couple? What is this 1975 or an ABC after school special? Is that even an issue (other than the fact that some of the most racist people I have ever met are "liberal" urban gay men)? Hurricane Katrina? There was a big storm and local and state government was not prepared. Urban sprawl in Atlanta? That's what happened to Boston a long time ago and now it's called a city. Will and Grace? WILL AND FUCKING GRACE?! Who cares?!

And cats are disgusting creatures. Their litter boxes are foul, their attitudes stink even worse, they leave hair everywhere (and you people with indoor pets need to run a lint brush over yourselves before leaving the house because we can all see the disgusting animal hair on you) and I'm allergic to them. I prefer my parents' dog, George W.

i agree with you that we must fight back, and that the last thing Europe (and the rest of the world) needs to be doing now is pandering to the will of insane extremist Islamists.

but what is the answer? how do we fight back? i've truly been pondering it.

1) we must take away the money. determine where it comes from and dry up the well.

2) alternative fuel sources, FOR REAL. if we eliminate their viable poker chip, they will be forced to play according to global terms and show up with something people will want to buy.

but what else? bomb somebody? war?

i just don't know.
