Jakarta, Nov. 08 (AsiaNews) - New violence has flared in Indonesia, in the town where three girls from a Christian school were decapitated on October 29, the AsiaNews service reports.
Two more girls were shot in the head in the evening of November 8 in Poso, in central Sulawesi-- a province marred by months of bloodshed, as Muslims have clashed with Christians. The two girls are in critical condition in a local hospital.

The Washington-DC based human rights group, International Christian Concern (ICC) http://www.persecution.org/ has just become informed of a second attack on young Christian girls in Poso, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. Ivon (last name unknown) (17 yrs.) and (Yuli) Siti Nuraini (17 yrs.) were shot in the head in the Gatot Subroto st area (Christian Area) of Poso near a Pentecostal church at 7:45 pm local time (11:45 GMT am).
It is reported that two armed men shot the girls point blank in the head with pistols. Ivon was shot through the left cheek and Siti was shot in the right cheek. Both are in coma and in critical condition.
These attacks follow the gruesome beheadings of 3 Christian High school students at the end of October. It is reported that 10 national-level police officials are in Central Sulawesi heading up the investigation into the beheadings. This latest attack coming right under their noses comes as a complete embarrassment to the central government.

Three suspected suicide bombers blew themselves up in three hotels in Amman on Wednesday and many people were feared dead, Jordan's official news agency, Petra, reported.
The agency, quoting a police spokesman, said the three targeted hotels were the Radisson SAS, the Grand Hyatt, and the Days Inn. The three hotels are popular with Western and Israeli tourists.
Reuters witnesses earlier reported that blasts at the Radisson and the Hyatt had killed at least five people and wounded scores more.
